Susan G. Komen for the Cure - LogoTie a Pink Ribbon Campaign

Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Central and South Jersey Affiliate is planning a special event to support the cause and further their mission to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. Pink ribbons have become an internationally recognized symbol of courage, support and hope for a cure. Volunteers will tie thousands of trees with pink ribbons in an effort to spread breast cancer awareness throughout towns in central and southern New Jersey. Ribbons will be placed by volunteers during the month of May, and will be taken down by May 31st. The cost per ribbon is $5.00, and the money raised will be used to fund grants to the medically underserved populations in our service area. See www.komencsnj.org, or call 609-896-1201 for more details.
