Code Enforcement

The Code Enforcement Office has the duty to inspect the structures and land in the Township, to enforce the existing ordinances on property maintenance and land use and to order the owner in writing to remedy any condition found to exist in violation of the afore mentioned provisions. For purposes of this inspection, the Code Enforcement Officer shall have the right to enter any building or premises during reasonable hours, subject to due process of law. When no resolution of violation occurs, the Code Enforcement Officer refers the matter to court.
