about the services...

Household trash is collected 2 times per week.

Residents should use metal or plastic containers with lids. The containers should be no larger than 20 gallons or weigh more than 40 pounds.

The collection schedule consists of one collection route North of Ward Avenue on Monday and Thursday and a second collection on Tuesday and Friday South of Ward Avenue.

Do's and Don'ts of your Solid Waste Collection

All solid waste is collected curbside between the hours of 7:00a.m. and 6:00p.m. Containers should be at the curbside prior to 7:00a.m. each collection day.

Solid waste is to be placed in rubber, plastic or metal containers or waterproof bags of plastic or equally strong and leak proof material.

PLASTIC CONTAINERS with locking lids are preferable to prevent blowing litter and animals from
getting into the refuse.

Please endeavor to keep the total weight of each container less than forty (40) pounds to avoid injury
to the sanitation workers.

Solid Waste items to be collected:

Household garbage and trash
Lawn and yard debris
Grass and shrub clippings
Tree branches:  Must be bundled and tied in 4’ lengths, not to exceed 40 lbs.

Bulk Waste Collection:

Bulk collection shall be every week on the second regularly scheduled collection day.

Bulk items to be collected:

Refrigerators (doors must be removed)
Furniture
Hot Water Heaters
Mattress and box springs
Washers and dryers
Rugs
Air conditioners

For the convenience of the contractor and so as not to disrupt service to other Township homeowners, the contractor
requests that no more than three (3) bulk items are placed at the curbside for collection on each bulk pick up day.
