In 1975 the Bordentown Township Committee and the Board of Education jointly formed the Community Education/Recreation Council establishing a year round education and recreation program for adults and children in our Township administered by a full time CE/R Director and staff.

The Township has four major parks for our residents enjoyment, Northern Community Park, on Groveville Road, Joseph Lawrence Park located on Ward Avenue, Charles Bossert Park located between Eaton Road and Charles Bossert Drive and Terry Field located off W. Constitution Drive.

These parks provide a wide array of recreational activities to enjoy.

Organized soccer and baseball leagues provide an athletic outlet for youngsters of all ages
