PSE&G NOTICE OF TREE REMOVAL AND TRIMMING
Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) utilizes the electric transmission right-of-way through this municipality. The electric transmission lines on this right-of-way are essential for PSE&G to meet it’s commitment to provide safe, adequate and reliable electric utility services to consumers throughout New Jersey. There are a number of overgrown trees and other vegetation that need to removed of trimmed. This work will begin on September 18, 2006.

TOWNSHIP OF BORDENTOWN LEAF COLLECTION
The Department of Public Works will provide curbside collection of loose leaves from the gutters of the Township streets in the residential arrears during normal working hours in accordance with the following schedule.
ALL AREAS NORTH OF WARD AVENUE
Weeks of: October 16, October 30, November 13 and November 27, 2006.
ALL AREAS SOUTH OF WARD AVENUE
Weeks of October 23, November 6, November 20, and December 4, 2006.
Should there be the need and weather permitting, there may be additional collections during the weeks of December 12 and December 18, 2006.
PLEASE NOTE:
- State Law prohibits the disposal of leaves with your household garbage. State Law prohibits the disposal of leaves in storm drains. Please monitor where you place your leaves for collection so as to minimize the risk of leaves entering the storm sewer systems.
- The Township prefers that all residents rake their leaves to curbside for collection in order to maintain a timely schedule. Should residents prefer to bag their leaves; bags will be collected according to the above schedule after the completion of those areas.
- The machines used to pick up the leaves do make a substantial amount of noise and some dust depending on the moisture content in the leaves. We apologize for this inconvenience.
- If there are any unforeseen mechanical problems with our equipment we will make every effort to get back on schedule as soon as possible and we appreciate your cooperation.
