Municipal Office Closures

Please be advised that Bordentown Township’s Municipal Offices will be closed Friday, December 24 for Christmas Eve. The Township Offices will also be closed Monday, January 3 in observance of the New Year’s holiday.

Bordentown Township Hosts Wreaths Across America Participants On Saturday, December 11

The country’s longest veterans’ parade – Wreaths Across America’s annual escort to Arlington National Cemetery – kicks off on Saturday, December 11, 2021, and will make a planned stop in Bordentown Township at 1 Advantage Court on Wednesday, December 15 at 3:30 p.m.

Bordentown Township is honored to host the Wreaths Across America Convoy and has planned an exciting, outdoor welcome ceremony that is open to the public.

The official escort will travel down the East Coast stopping at schools, memorials, and other locations along the way to spread the mission to REMEMBER, HONOR and TEACH. Stops with public events will be held in Maine, Vermont, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Washington D.C., before arriving at Arlington National Cemetery on the morning of Saturday, December 18 – National Wreaths Across America Day. Remaining COVID Vaccination Clinic Dates

Select dates remain at our Bordentown Township COVID Vaccination Site. Burlington County residents can receive the COVID-19 vaccine at the Bordentown vaccination site located at the Senior Center, 3 Municipal Drive. Dates remaining for 2021 include:

Thursday, December 9
Thursday, December 16
Thursday, December 23
Thursday, December 30

Please note that clinics are offering the Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines. Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are offered for those 18 and older, while Pfizer is offered for those ages 12 and up. Clinics are offering first, second and now boosters for all three vaccines. Walk-ins are welcome. Make an appointment online or by calling 1-855-568-0545. Learn more.

New Interactive Map for Bordentown's Road Program

Bordentown Township is proud to introduce a new interactive map with details about the road program. The new map shows all the roads that have been paved from 2018 to the present, and also indicates the plan for future road improvements for the next five years. New Affordable Housing Coming to Bordentown Township

New Affordable Housing is coming to Bordentown Township! 41 NEW affordable rentals are expected to be ready in 2022 at The Reserve at Crosswicks. Now accepting Preliminary Applications to join Rental Waiting List. Submit a Preliminary Application by January 17, 2022 by clicking here. Employee Spotlight
Community Development Director Mark Siegle

Mark Siegle is our Community Development Director and was hired by the township on August 23, 2021. Mark is a Licensed Professional Planner in the State of New Jersey since 2010, and also a Member of the American Institute of Certified Planners since 2010. He is an Accredited Member of the Congress of New Urbanism since 2013 and has served as a Principal Planner for the City of New Brunswick and the City of Asbury Park over the last 14 years.

Mark oversees the day-to-day operations of the Community Development  Department, while also serving as a Secretary of the Planning Board. He utilizes his experience and technical skills to help implement policies which not only further the visons of the Township Committee, but also comply with changes in legislation at the State and Federal level.

Mark was born in Point Pleasant and grew up in Brick Township, attending Brick Memorial High School, graduating in 2000. Mark graduated with a BA from Rutgers University in 2005 and a Masters in City and Regional Planning from The Edward J. Blauste in School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University in 2009.

Mark is married eight years to his wife Dawn, and together with his 5-year-old daughter Harper, live in Bordentown City.

He enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, reading and is a die-hard West Ham United supporter.

The Township Committee’s Reorganization Meeting will take place on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11 a.m. Watch for more details.

Additionally, a Free Rabies Clinic for both dogs and cats will take place on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 1-3 p.m. at the Senior Community Center, 3 Municipal Drive. More information coming soon!
