New 2020 Trash Pick-Up SystemStarting Monday, February 17, Bordentown Township will implement a new articulated trash pick-up system. All township residents will receive one new garbage receptacle the week of February 10. Click here for more information, details and an updated trash schedule. |
Dog LicensingNew Jersey state law requires ALL dogs to be licensed. The fees are now $15 for a for a spayed or neutered dog and $18 for a dog non-spayed or non-neutered. Dogs can be licensed in person at the Clerk’s office or by mail. The Clerk’s office is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. To license your dog, please mail a copy of the current rabies vaccination certificate, proof of spaying/neutering, the appropriate fee with check made payable to "Township of Bordentown," and a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Mail to ATTENTION: DOG LICENSE, 1 Municipal Drive, Bordentown, NJ 08505. Be advised that after January 31, a $5 late fee must be included.More information here. |
1st Quarter Taxes DueTo avoid interest charges, taxes for the first quarter of 2020 must be received by the Tax Collector no later than the close of business on Monday, February 10. Taxes may be paid in person or by mail. The Tax Collector’s Office is open 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday |

Daniel Applegate’s Blood DriveBordentown Township will host a blood drive to support people like Daniel. The Daniel’s Fight Blood Drive will take place Friday, February 7 from 2-8 p.m. at the Bordentown Senior Center, 3 Municipal Drive. View the flier. |
Celebrating Black History MonthBordentown Township will celebrate February’s Black History Month with a ceremony on Friday, February 28 at Bordentown Region High School’s Media Center. The programs will be offered at two sessions: 10:35-11:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. |
Partnering with the U.S. Census 2020Bordentown Township has partnered with the U.S. Census Bureau for the 2020 Census. Homes will begin to receive invitations to complete the 2020 Census by the second week of February. Make sure you’re counted, and respond for your home by either online, phone, or mail. If residents do not complete the Census, door knockers will come to receive a count for your home. Learn more about our partnership and the upcoming census. |
BTPD No Knock Sticker ReminderDisplay your official “No Knock” sticker issued by the Bordentown Township Police Department - signifying not to be disturbed. This sticker must be placed prominently on the residents’ outer most front doors. Residents can pick up a free sticker by visiting the Police Department Records Bureau or the Township Clerk’s Office Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with a New Jersey Driver’s License, tax bill or another suitable proof of residency.
