Forget to license your dog? Please mail the Dog License Application to Bordentown Township immediately, or use the drop-off box in the Municipal Building lobby. Click here for more information.

NexTrex Plastic Film Recycling Challenge
Bordentown Township is participating in the NexTrex Plastic Film Recycling Challenge. Participate in this community program by reading additional information below. The challenge is accepting materials now.

Please bring your plastic bags to the township recycling facility. The township will receive credit for the weight of the plastic AND has a chance to win a Trex bench. Please note that mailing labels must be removed from plastic envelopes, and the items must be 100% plastic material (no stickers and such). Items should be dry, clean, and have no residue (other than tape).

Bordentown Township’s Recycling facility is next to Derby Firehouse inside our Public Works. Weekly hours are:
Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Please visit front office first)
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (Please go straight to the recycling yard)

Items that can be recycled: grocery bags, bread bags, case overwrap, dry cleaning bags, newspaper sleeves, ice bags, wood pellet bags, Ziploc & other re-sealable bags, produce bags, bubble wrap, salt bags, plastic shipping envelopes, pallet wrap and stretch film, and cereal bags. All materials must be clean, dry, and free of food residue.

Meet Your Township Employee
Adam Spundarelli

Adam Spundarelli was born and raised in Bordentown City, New Jersey. His grandfather was a local business owner who owned Spundarelli’s Barber Shop which was located on Farnsworth Avenue. 

Adam and his lovely wife, Courtney, were married in August of 2017. Adam, Courtney, and their cat Rascal live in Burlington City in a home they bought in April of 2020.

Adam attended Lawrenceville School for High School, and then attended The College of Charleston before graduating from Rider University.

Adam works for our Public Works Department as the Assistant Director of Public Works and has successfully received his CPWM certificate. He handles all of the daily and seasonal work that is done throughout Bordentown Township. He enjoys keeping the Township manicured and looks forward to doing that for many years to come.

Adam spends his free time recently doing projects for his home and likes to watch sporting events.
