Reorganization Meeting Recap

Dog Licensing Month

January is Dog Licensing Month. Due to COVID-19, please mail the Dog License Application to Bordentown Township, or use the drop-off box in the Municipal Building lobby. Click here for more information.

Annual FREE Rabies Vaccination Clinic

Bordentown Township’s Annual FREE Rabies Vaccination Clinic is Saturday, January 9 from 1-3 p.m. at the Senior Community Center (entrance in the rear of the building). Please be advised that there are new procedures due to COVID-19. Complete the Rabies Vaccination Form prior to arrival, and bring a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like the vaccination certificate mailed to you. Otherwise, the certificate will be emailed to you. Read information regarding the Clinic.

Christmas Tree Pick-Up

Bordentown Township Public Works will be picking up Christmas Trees throughout the entire month of January 2021. Please review the below information regarding Christmas Tree Pick-Up.

  • Place trees at the curb. There is no need to call for pick-up.
  • Remove all lights and ornaments.
  • Old Christmas lights can be dropped off at the Public Works Recycling Center during normal hours.
  • “Flocked” or sprayed trees cannot be recycled, but will be picked up.

Meet Your Township Employee
Maria Carrington

Maria Carrington grew up in Camden County with stints in Pennsylvania, Iowa and Michigan. She graduated from Cherry Hill High School East and went to the College of William and Mary. She later received a law degree from Villanova University and a master’s degree in Government Administration from Fels Center of Government at the University of Pennsylvania.

Maria joined the Township in April 2019 as the Township Clerk. She prepares the agenda for Township Committee meetings and attends all Committee meetings. The Clerk’s office processes licenses such as animal, businesses, liquor and solicitors. The office also handles OPRA requests, oversees record retention, assists the county with elections and helps facilitate local government.

Maria is an avid reader, runner and college basketball enthusiast. She lives with her husband, Steve, and their dog, Jerry. Her son Michael is a sophomore at Baylor University. Sic ‘em!
