2020 Census Information

Respond to the 2020 Census and make your count! Each address (household) must fill out a Census 2020 questionnaire. By answering the Census, it helps to ensure federal spending is allocated by a true number of individuals in each area of the country. In a few minutes of your time, you can shape the future of Bordentown, New Jersey, and the United States of America for the next decade. Please help us reach 100% self-response rate. Bordentown City Farmer’s Market

The Bordentown City Farmer’s Market is every Sunday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Don’t miss the market every Sunday until September 27 at the Carslake Community Center. Please review the graphics for more information!

Bordentown City Bicycle Collection

The Bordentown City Green Team is collecting used/unwanted bikes for the Boys and Girls Club of Trenton Bicycle Exchange on Saturday, June 13 from 7 a.m. - noon at the Bordentown City Public Works Recycling Depot (behind Gilder Field). Please look for directional signs for specific locations and remember to practice social distancing.

Upcycle your items to local crafters! The Bordentown City Green Team will be collecting items until Friday, June 12. Wine Corks can be collected through Friday, June 12 at 361 Prince Street and T-shirts, plastic bags, and plastic netting can be collected through Friday, June 12 at 3 East Union Street. Town Hall Summer Hours

The Bordentown Township Town Hall summer hours are Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. - noon. These hours will continue through Labor Day. Please be advised that at this time, the building remains closed to the public.

Primary Election Updates

Please be reminded that as per Governor Murphy’s Executive Order 120, the primary election date has been moved to Tuesday, July 7. The deadline to register to vote in the Primary Election is Tuesday, June 16. Voters registered as Democrats or Republicans will be sent a ballot and a return postage paid envelope. Unaffiliated voters will receive a Vote-by-Mail application to be returned before receiving the ballot. There will be limited polling locations on July 7 where you can vote using a Provisional (Paper) Ballot unless you have a disability. Township Business License Applications

All Bordentown Township businesses should have received, either by email or U.S. mail, an application for a 2020-2021 Business License. Due to the current economic downturn, the Township Committee has waived all fees associated with business licenses (see Resolution 2020-100), however, the paperwork still needs to be completed by Wednesday, July 1. Update on Township Events

  • The July 4 Fireworks have been postponed. The fireworks will be held on Labor Day Weekend on Saturday, September 5.
  • The Fishing Derby on July 4 has been cancelled.
  • The 63rd Army Band Concert, scheduled for June 27, has been cancelled.
  • Music in the Park, for the 2020 year, has been cancelled.
