Rechargeable Battery Recycling Updates

Please be advised that rechargeable batteries are no longer accepted at the Township Recycling Center. However, they may be brought to the Home Depot for recycling. Learn more.

Township Shredder Dates

Mark your calendars! Bordentown Township’s Shredder Days are scheduled for Saturday, May 1 and Saturday, October 2 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Public Works Garage located at 266 Crosswicks Road.


Virtual Spring Coloring Contest
Hosted by Bordentown Township

Bordentown Township is hosting a Virtual Spring Coloring Contest this year. Your child may choose one of four pages to download and color. Scan or take a picture with your phone, and email it back to the email address noted below.

The contest begins Friday, March 5 and concludes on Friday, March 26, 2021. Winners will be notified by email by Wednesday, March 31. The Bunny will distribute winning prizes, (large filled Easter Baskets), on Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 3-4 p.m. in front of the Bordentown Township Municipal Building.
 
To participate, please visit this link. There are four different coloring pages to select from to submit.

Parents should submit only one entry per child from ages 3 to 9 years to: [email protected] by Friday, March 26, 2021.

Winners will be notified by email. Prizes may also be picked up on Monday, April 5 in the lobby of the Municipal Building between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. if that’s more convenient.

Presenting the 2021 Sustainable New Jersey Green Pledge Remotely

Follow the below steps to fill out this year's Sustainability Challenge:

  1. Visit this link.
  2. Fill out the pledge.
  3. Download the file.
  4. Accept and choose “with changes”.
  5. Send an email with your pledge attached to [email protected].
  6. Please make the subject line “2021 Challenge”.
  7. Make sure to add the pledge as an attachment.
  8. This must be completed on a computer.

Our Township has been awarded both Silver and Bronze awards from Sustainable New Jersey. We have attained these through the hard work of our Environmental Commission, our Green Team, our residents, and the cooperation of our Township Committee. We need only one member from each household to complete the 2021 Sustainable New Jersey Green Pledge. We are always grateful to our residents for their help and time.

Meet Your Township Employee
Adam Edwards

Adam Edwards lives in Bordentown, New Jersey and is one of our police officers in the township. Adam attended Faith Christian School in Hamilton, New Jersey for elementary school, and continued his education at the Life Center Academy in Florence New Jersey. He enrolled in the Bordentown Regional School District in 7th grade until he graduated from Bordentown Regional High School.

He attended Burlington County Community College then went onto the Mercer County Police Academy graduating in 2015. Adam has been employed with the Bordentown Township Police Department since September of 2014.

Adam is currently the department’s School Resource Officer, Juvenile Officer and one of our police departments Physical Fitness Instructors. Adam enjoys cooking, Jiu Jitsu and keeping fit. He also likes spending time with family and friends and being active in any way possible.
