Hydrant Flushing ContinuesHydrant flushing continues next week, November 8 thru 10. Review the 2021 Hydrant Flushing schedule taking place this November. Remember: Your water can be rusty or brown after the flush, therefore do not run your washing machine or dishwasher. If you are able to bypass your RO unit or the house water filter, that is a good idea as well. Disable your auto ice makers. To those of you who keep saltwater fish, please make sure you don't make any saltwater these days if your system is set to auto tap off. Run your water for a bit after the flush until the water is clear again. Use cold water first. You should use your tub or laundry sink for the flush as they do not have the screening at the end which can get plugged with debris. |

Spotted lanternflies are now fully grown and will be laying eggs now through December. Adult lanternflies will largely die off into the winter months, but the eggs will continue to develop and hatch in 2022. Residents of Bordentown Township are urged to kill remaining lanternflies on sight, and remove and exterminate any eggs if spotted.
