Anchor Property Tax ReliefNews about Property Tax Relief! The State may have sent you an “ANCHOR Benefit Confirmation Letter” notifying you that you meet the requirements for the ANCHOR Property Relief Program. If the information in that letter remains the same, no action is necessary. If, however, your information has changed, you should have made changes by September 30. If you did not receive an “ANCHOR Benefit Confirmation Letter,” but meet the requirements based on 2020 residency, you may still apply! Check out the State’s Website! You must file by December 30, 2023. The ANCHOR (Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners and Renters) property tax relief program replaced the Homestead Benefit program and expanded eligibility to twice as many homeowners and includes tenants.
