Hydrant Flushing ScheduleThe City of Bordentown’s Water Department is conducting Hydrant Flushing through October 16. View the schedule for hydrant flushing. Your water may be rusty or brown after the flush. Do not run your washing machine or dishwasher on these days during working hours. Additional Tips:

Spotted Lanternfly is an invasive species that can harm your trees and orchards. Community Workout with BTPD - Monday Nights in OctoberThe BTPD hopes to promote a healthy lifestyle for both our officers and residents by hosting free community workouts on Monday nights in October from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Bordentown Middle School. BTPD No Knock StickerBe free from door-to-door solicitors. Display your official “No Knock” sticker issued by the Bordentown Township Police Department – signifying not to be disturbed. This sticker must be placed prominently on the residents outer most front doors. Pick up a fee sticker by visiting the Police Department Records Bureau or the Township Clerk’s Office Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with a New Jersey Driver’s License, tax bill or another suitable proof of residency. BTPD Goes Pink for Breast Cancer AwarenessThe Bordentown Township Police Department will be “going pink” during October to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Officers will be wearing pink BTPD patches on their uniforms to encourage conversation with the community and raise public awareness about the importance of early detection and the on-going fight against this disease. The police department’s charity fund supported this initiative with a $1000 donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Central and South Jersey. This disease is very personal to several of our officers, and we will proudly wear these patches to honor and support those affected. |
