The Registrar of Vital Statistics records all marriages, births, and deaths which occur in Bordentown Township.

MARRIAGE APPLICATION/LICENSE: If either spouse is a resident of New Jersey, the marriage license must be obtained in the municipality where either lives. If both are non-residents of New Jersey, the license must be obtained from the municipality where the marriage is to be performed. A license may not be used outside of New Jersey and a license issued in another state may not be used in New Jersey.

MARRIAGE CEREMONIES: Burlington County Clerk Joanne Schwartz is performing weddings every Wednesday afternoon between 1PM and 4PM in the historic and picturesque Lyceum building on High Street in Mount Holly.

There is no fee for the service, but couples must obtain their marriage license prior to the ceremony.
