Please be advised, due to the holiday, recycling collection will take place on Tuesday, September 3, and trash on Thursday, September 5. Please note, this will be the last Thursday garbage pick-up for the year. |
Township Committee Meetings - Monday, September 9 & 23Township Committee Meetings for the month of September will take place on Monday, September 9 and Monday, September 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Meeting Room in the Township Municipal Building. All are welcome to attend. |

Flag Retirement Ceremony - Saturday, September 14Honor your old glory and put your flag to rest on Saturday, September 14 at the Flag Retirement Ceremony at 11 a.m. in Northern Community Park. |
Flu Shot Clinic - Monday, September 16It’s that time of year again! Bordentown Township will host a flu shot clinic on Monday, September 16 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Bordentown Senior Center. Please bring your insurance card. For more information, click here. |
Farmer's Market - Every Sunday until September 29Pick up some of your favorite fall produce, handmade wares and tasty treats all at Bordentown City's Farmers’ Market every Sunday, now through September 29 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Carslake Community Center parking lot. |
Community Workout with BTPD – Monday Nights in OctoberThe BTPD hopes to promote a healthy lifestyle for both our officers and residents by hosting free community workouts on Monday nights in October from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Bordentown Middle School. Shredder Day - Saturday, October 5Papers piling up? Bring them over to the Public Works Garage on Shredder Day – Saturday October 5! Safely dispose of and securely shred your papers while enjoying a free cup of coffee. Limit is 10 boxes per household. This event is not open to commercial businesses. |
BTPD No Knock StickerIn an attempt to allow residents to be free from door-to-door solicitations, you may now elect to display an official "No Knock" sticker issued by the Bordentown Township Police Department that signifies that the residents do not wish to be disturbed. This sticker must be placed prominently on the residents outer most front doors. Township Residents may pick-up their free sticker by visiting either the Police Department Records Bureau or the Township Clerk’s Office Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and with their New Jersey Driver’s License, tax bill or another suitable proof of residency. |

BTPD Honors 9/11BTPD was honored to provide traffic control for the annual 9/11 motorcycle ride as it passed through the Township. This is the ride's 18th anniversary and begins in Shanksville, PA, to the Pentagon, and ends at the World Trade Center. |
Honoring the High School Softball TeamThe Township Committee was thrilled to honor the 2019 Bordentown Regional High School Softball team at the Committee Meeting on August 12. Members of the Committee paid tribute to the team for their successful, championship season which included a sectional championship, marking a historical season for the team. Read more here. |
