Veterans Career Fair - Friday March 22Citizen Soldier Life is hosting a career fair for Veterans on Friday March 22, 2019 from 12-3 p.m. at Bordentown Armory. Soldiers, Veterans and their dependents are invited to meet and network with Veteran-friendly employers, service providers and government agencies at no cost. Guests are encouraged to bring their resumes to be reviewed by professionals and a financial counselor will be on-site. On-the-spot interviews will also take place; and a free lunch will be provided courtesy of the United Services Organization of PA and NJ. Free Lead Screenings - Wednesday, March 27, 2019On Wednesday March 27, 2019, The Burlington County Health Department & Virtua Community Nursing Services will offer free lead screenings for children 1-6. Conversation with MTIS Alumni - Saturday, March 30Travel back through time with Bordentown Historical Society’s Untold Stories series. The fifth session of the series will take place at Bordentown Senior Center on Saturday, March 30. During the session, Alumni from Bordentown Manual Training & Industrial School will share their firsthand experiences and the impact of two locally segregated schools had on the community. |
Easter Egg Hunt – Saturday, April 20, 2019Bordentown Township will host an Easter Egg Hunt at the Northern Community Park on Saturday, April 20, 2019. Free registration will be from 9-9:30.a.m, and the Hunt will begin at 10 a.m. This is a rain or shine event and the Easter Bunny will make an appearance for photos at the conclusion. Please bring your own camera or phone to capture precious moments. |
February RecapBTPD Introduces New Police UniformsAfter a thorough evaluation and with input from the entire Police Department, the BTPD unveiled their new uniforms in a new color, style and design to be more functional, cost-effective and durable. Chief Brian Pesce proudly announced this change for first time in the department's 47-years. We are pleased to report that the bulk of this uniform change was paid with drug forfeiture funds. |
Bordentown High School Volleyball TournamentOur very own Bordentown Township Police competed against Bordentown Regional High School students at the school's annual volleyball tournament. Didn't make it to this match? The BTPD regularly participates in these types of events in an effort to improve the relationships between local youth and the police officers who serve their community - stay tuned for the next one. |
Bordentown Township Honors Black History Month at BRHSBordentown Township honored Black History Month at the 6th Annual Black History Celebration on February 28 at Bordentown Regional High School.
