Big congratulations to Kashika Manak, a student at Bordentown Regional High School, who was named a State Semi-Finalist in the 31st Annual Louis Bay 2nd Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Competition by the NJ State League of Municipalities!
Kashika was one of just 36 semi-finalists across New Jersey selected for her essay on: “What does my municipal government do best?”
Essays were judged by a panel for originality, clarity, and message. Kashika’s thoughtful take stood out.
She was recognized at our May 12 Township Committee Meeting, where Mayor Eric Holliday presented her with a certificate.
“It’s always inspiring to see young people like Kashika take an interest in their local government,” said Mayor Holliday. “She represents the future of public service and we’re proud to celebrate her.”
Way to go, Kashika! We’re so proud to have you represent Bordentown Township.
