VAC 2025 Memorial Day Ceremony

This Memorial Day, Bordentown Township came together in a heartfelt tribute to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. The community gathered at Bordentown Cemetery for a powerful morning of remembrance, reflection, and gratitude.

The ceremony featured a moving keynote address by U.S. Navy Captain James B. Howell, whose words inspired reflection on the courage and dedication of those who have served. Mayor Holliday, Senator Troy Singleton, Assemblywoman Carol A. Murphy, and Assemblyman Balvir Singh also shared remarks, honoring the fallen and recognizing the importance of service and community.

Deacon Tom Shea led the gathering in prayer, and the audience was moved by a vocal performance from Aidan Gould. The Veterans Advisory Committee, led by Chairman Bryan Branson, facilitated the event with care and purpose, including the ceremonial flag raising and wreath-laying. Burlington County Sheriff James H. Kostoplis and Burlington County Commissioner Randy Brolo were in attendance as distinguished guests of honor, joining local veterans groups in paying their respects.
