Hey Bordentown! Snow Emergency Parking Restrictions are in effect during declared snow emergencies. Please take a moment to review the listed routes and avoid parking where restrictions apply so crews can plow safely and emergency access remains clear. When moving vehicles off the street, PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN SCHOOL PARKING LOTS — these areas must remain clear for safety and access during snow events. Thanks for your cooperation.

Meet a Member of Your Township: Paul Knicos, Building Inspector.
If you’ve ever pulled a permit or worked on a project in Bordentown City or Township, there’s a good chance you’ve crossed paths with Paul. He’s the one making sure projects are safe, up to code, and actually make sense — and he’s always willing to explain the why, not just the rules.
When he’s off the clock, Paul’s usually at home working on house projects that never seem to end and restoring his ’86 Mustang SVO and ’68 convertible. He stays active, builds go-carts for his daughter, hangs out with his three dogs, and is a proud dad of two daughters — including a step-daughter who recently got engaged! He also cheers on the Knicks, Yankees, and Lions.
Approachable, detail-focused, and genuinely here to help — Paul plays a big role in keeping Bordentown moving behind the scenes. Take a peek at Paul behind-the-scenes here!
Got a question about permits, inspections, or a project you’re planning? Paul’s always happy to help.

February is a time to reflect -- and to keep moving forward. As we honor Black History Month, we’re reminded that strong community is built through service, respect, and the simple but meaningful act of showing up for one another -- something we do especially well here in Bordentown.

Hey neighbors — just a quick, friendly reminder as everyone finishes clearing driveways and sidewalks.
Please avoid using snowblowers to push snow back into streets that have already been plowed. When snow gets pushed back into the roadway, it creates icy spots and means our Public Works crews have to go back out and redo areas they already cleared.
A little extra care goes a long way in keeping roads safe for everyone — and helps our crews keep moving through the Township efficiently. Thanks so much for doing your part and looking out for one another.
