Happy Earth Day!
We have some exciting news! All Bordentown residents can enroll in a local community solar project through the New Jersey Community Solar Energy Program to help reduce your energy bills. There are NO panels to install on your roof. Many are already benefiting from the program to save on electricity costs.
Whether you rent or own your home, you can enroll in community solar and save money on electricity without installing solar panels on your roof. Solar panels are installed on warehouse rooftops instead, and you can subscribe to a share of the clean energy generated. You’ll receive solar credits directly on your electric utility bill for the clean energy produced, reducing what you owe.
Bordentown residents can get a 31% discount on solar credits directly on their PSE&G bill. To learn more or enroll, visit www.solarlandscape.com/nj/bordentowntwp or call Solar Landscape at 732-589-7529 and use invite code BTTWP.

Calling all Bordentown Township Residents!
Join our Low Mow initiative and help protect native pollinators and wildlife. By delaying your first lawn cut until after May 8th and raising your mower blades, you can make a big difference for the bees, birds, and other beneficial insects that call our community home.
Fewer cuts = Deeper roots + More food for pollinators + Less yard waste!
This voluntary program is a simple way to support our environment while keeping your yard looking great. Our non-athletic Township fields are participating too!
