Meet a Member of Your Township: Sarah Capritti When it comes to keeping things running smoothly in the courtroom, Sarah Capritti knows the ropes -- and then some. She’s been in the court system since 2002, with more than two decades of experience and 20 years serving as a certified Court Administrator. This year marks Sarah’s tenth year managing a shared service court. Bordentown Township and Chesterfield share a court system, and the Township also shares Sarah’s expertise with Fieldsboro and Bordentown City. She’s on call 24/7 for all courts -- traveling to Fieldsboro twice a week and overseeing court sessions every second and fourth Tuesday. No matter where she is, Sarah is working for all four towns every day. Sarah joined Bordentown Township in 2021, bringing her expertise, calm under pressure, and a genuine commitment to serving the public. Whether it’s managing the daily operations of the Municipal Court or guiding residents through the process with care and fairness, she leads with both professionalism and heart. When she’s not at work, Sarah is a proud wife, mom of two (plus one very loved four-legged family member), and a true Phillies fan (yes, she bleeds red and white). Whether it’s court calendars or Phillies box scores, Sarah’s always got her eye on the details.

Friendly reminder from Public Works: As our crews move through the Township, they’ve been spotting a few leaf piles that have sticks, branches, trash, and other debris mixed in. Those items can damage the equipment, so we’re only able to collect leaf-only piles. Keeping your piles to leaves only helps our team stay on schedule and keeps the process safe for everyone. If a pile has mixed materials, it’ll need to be corrected before we can pick it up. Thanks so much for helping us keep things running smoothly — we appreciate it!
