Township Committee Meeting TONIGHT at 7:30pm
Today, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. -- and the values he stood for: service, compassion, and community. MLK Day is often called a day "on", not a day "off" -- a reminder that for some, this day is a chance to give back in ways that feel meaningful to them. If you’re interested in getting involved or volunteering, you can find service opportunities of all kinds at globalcitizen365.org/kingday/. Please note: Municipal offices will be CLOSED today in observance of the holiday. However you spend the day, we honor Dr. King by showing up for one another.

Big hometown energy! Out of more than 2,000 submissions, the winning name for Trenton’s new pro ice hockey team came from two local fans -- including Bordentown resident Joel Perez. Joel and fellow fan Jim Miller of Lawrenceville both submitted Trenton Ironhawks, earning each of them a season ticket membership for the 2026–2027 season. Huge congrats to both winners -- proof that local voices really do shape the teams we cheer for.

Veterans Advisory Committee Meeting TONIGHT
This weekend felt BIG — the kind of moment you pause for and take in. In Bordentown Township, Aneka Miller was sworn in as our first Black Mayor, a milestone built on years of showing up, serving, and caring deeply about this community. At the same time, Stephanie Lagos, Jennifer Sciortino, and Grace Archer took the oath of office, making history as Bordentown City’s first all-women Board of Commissioners and beginning their four-year terms. Two milestones. One community. A shared sense of pride in how far we’ve come — and where we’re going. This is a moment worth celebrating. Here’s to Bordentown, and a historic start to 2026.
