REMINDER: Hydrant Flushing begins TOMORROW, April 8, and continues through Thursday, April 10 (see second slide for all the details).
During this time, you may notice your water looks rusty or discolored. We recommend not using your washing machine or dishwasher. If you have an RO unit or house water filter, it’s a good idea to bypass them for now.
A few more helpful tips:
• Turn off your automatic ice makers.
• If you have saltwater fish, avoid making saltwater with tap water during this time.
• After flushing, run cold water from your tub or laundry sink until it clears. These fixtures don’t have end screens that can clog with debris.
Thanks for your cooperation!

FRIENDLY REMINDER!
Second quarter property taxes are due by MAY 1st.
You can make your payment online at https://wipp.edmundsassoc.com/Wipp/?wippid=0304 or drop it off at the secure box in the front of the Municipal Building (at 1 Municipal Drive) - whatever works best for you!
Have questions? Give us a call at 609-298-2800 Ext. 2106 or email p.lewis@bordentowntwp.org. We're happy to help!

Spring cleaning, but make it a community event! On Saturday, April 12th at 10:00 AM, the Bordentown Township Environmental Commission is hosting a clean-up at Northern Community Park—and you’re invited to be part of it.
We’re gathering volunteers of all ages to help spruce up the park just in time for spring events. Whether you’re a student looking to earn community service hours or a neighbor who wants to give back, this is a great way to spend the morning outdoors and make a visible impact.
Bring your work gloves, wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy, and come ready to roll up your sleeves. When the community comes together, good things happen.

Did you know Bordentown Township has regulations to protect our trees -- and our community?
Healthy trees do more than make our neighborhoods look beautiful. They help prevent soil erosion, protect water resources, support wildlife, and keep property values strong. That’s why Bordentown has rules in place when it comes to removing trees on your property.
Here’s what to know:
If you’re planning to remove a tree that’s 8 inches or more in diameter (measured at breast height), you may need a tree removal permit from the Township. This helps ensure thoughtful development and protects the environmental health of our community. Visit here for the application: https://bit.ly/4kYlrzi
Questions about tree removal or permits? We’re happy to help—reach out anytime!
