Heads up, Bordentown! 🌿 Our Public Works team is out collecting brush, but they’re noticing a lot of yard waste mixed in—like grass clippings, weeds, and garden debris.
Yard waste should go in your regular trash can, not the brush pile. Mixing them can damage the chipper and slow down collection. Let’s keep brush piles to branches only (small to large). Thanks for your help in keeping things running smoothly!

Let’s talk recycling updates! ♻️
Bordentown Township is no longer accepting aerosol cans in our recycling program. 🚫 Pressurized cans have caused fires during collection, posing safety risks for our crews and equipment.
✅ If the can is completely empty, it can go in your regular trash.

Heads up, Bordentown Township & City — due to unforeseen circumstances, this weekend’s Shredder Day is postponed. 📄🛑

We’ll share the rescheduled date as soon as it’s confirmed — thanks for hanging in there with us!

Meet the women behind the Clerk’s Office — Cindy, our Township Clerk, and Meghan, our Deputy Clerk!
Cindy has spent 17+ years serving Bordentown, the town she’s called home since childhood. She loves helping residents, working alongside a great team, and staying busy every day. Outside the office, she enjoys day trips, traveling, and spending time with her grandkids.
Meghan joined the Clerk’s Office last August after years in the construction permit department. Her goal? To make your visit easier, quicker, and a little less daunting. She’s also a book club host, Little Free Library steward, and true crime podcast enthusiast — don’t worry, she’s more into solving paperwork than whodunits.
The Clerk’s Office can help with marriage licenses, voter registration, records requests, meeting info, and general questions — big or small. They’re happy to walk you through the process and point you in the right direction.
Have a question? Don’t be shy — stop in or reach out. That’s what they’re here for.
