January is Dog Licensing Month in Bordentown Township!
If you have a dog that’s 7 months or older, licenses are required each year -- and January is the time to renew.
We’re also hosting a FREE Rabies Vaccination Clinic for residents:
Saturday, January 10, 2026
1:00–2:30 PM
Northern Community Park (Groveville Road)
Dog licenses run on a calendar year (January 1–December 31). Renewals can be done throughout January, and new licenses are available year-round. To renew, you’ll just need a current rabies certificate, proof of spay/neuter if applicable, and the licensing fee.
Licenses can be completed by mail or in person through the Township Clerk’s Office. (If you’re renewing by mail, a self-addressed stamped envelope is appreciated.)
License fees:
$10 for spayed/neutered dogs
$13 for non-spayed/non-neutered dogs
A $5 late fee applies to renewals after January 31.
Thanks for helping keep Bordentown’s pets and community safe -- and give your pup an extra treat for us!

This weekend felt BIG — the kind of moment you pause for and take in.
In Bordentown Township, Aneka Miller was sworn in as our first Black Mayor, a milestone built on years of showing up, serving, and caring deeply about this community.
At the same time, Stephanie Lagos, Jennifer Sciortino, and Grace Archer took the oath of office, making history as Bordentown City’s first all-women Board of Commissioners and beginning their four-year terms.
Two milestones. One community. A shared sense of pride in how far we’ve come — and where we’re going.
This is a moment worth celebrating. Here’s to Bordentown, and a historic start to 2026.

If staying informed is on your 2026 to-do list, we’ve got you covered.
