Join us for Military Appreciation Day on Saturday, June 21, 2025!
Hosted at Seaside Heights, this special day is open to Army and Air National Guard and Reserves. Bring your Military ID and enjoy free access to the Water Park, Beach, Arcade, and Ride Park all day long!

Meet a member of your Township Team: Bob Salmons! 🌟
Bob is our Construction Official, Plumbing Subcode Official, Fire Inspector, and Building Subcode Official -- bringing decades of hands-on experience to every inspection and permit. After running his own contracting and plumbing businesses, he joined the Township nearly 10 years ago and has helped build a department culture focused on code compliance and community service across Bordentown Township, Fieldsboro, and Bordentown City.
He’s also a proud husband and father of four -- two sons and two daughters -- spread across Brooklyn, Tahoe, Montclair State, and soon, Florida Atlantic. When he’s not supporting safe development in our community, he’s celebrating big milestones at home, including his wife Lori’s upcoming retirement after 34 years in education. 🎉

Please leave a little wiggle room — about 3 feet — all the way around your garbage and recycling cans.
When things are too close (like bags, boxes, or even another bin), the trucks can’t reach them, and your trash might get skipped.
It’s a small thing that makes a big difference — thanks for helping keep pickup smooth for everyone!

Bordentown Township’s 11th Annual Fireworks Display is lighting up the sky on Thursday, July 3 at Joseph Lawrence Park — with food vendors, music, and a spectacular show to celebrate the season!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to scheduling conflicts, there will be NO RAIN DATE this year. If weather doesn’t cooperate, the event will unfortunately be canceled.

At the June 9th Township Committee Meeting, we proudly recognized Sameer for earning the National Merit Scholarship Award, a prestigious honor awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and involvement in extracurricular activities.
“Sameer Sharma earned the National Merit Scholarship Award for achieving the highest academic excellence and for participating in extra-curricular activities after taking the PSAT National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test,” said Mayor Eric Holliday. “Sameer was chosen as one out of 15,000 outstanding finalists selected throughout the country to receive this prestigious award.”
