What a first summer at the Splash Pad!

As summer begins to wind down, it’s time for us to close the Splash Pad for the season a little earlier than we had hoped.

With the school year beginning September 3rd, our crews need this time to safely finish construction on the rest of the new playground area without families navigating around active construction, equipment and trucks.

But here’s the exciting part… the rest of the playground is almost ready!

We’re looking forward to opening the completed play area this September, giving families even more to enjoy at Joseph Lawrence Park!

Thank you for making our very first Splash Pad summer such a special one. From opening day to all those hot afternoons spent running through the water, so many memories have already been made there -- and this is only the beginning.

See you next summer, Splash Pad! And we’ll see you this September for even more fun at the playground!

MUSIC IN THE PARK UPDATE

Well, the weather is just not cooperating with us this time. Due to the rain in tomorrow’s forecast, we unfortunately need to cancel Saturday evening’s Music in the Park featuring the Princeton School of Rock House Band.

We’re definitely disappointed to miss what would have been a great final night of the series, but stay tuned! We’re hoping we may be able to find a new date and will share an update if we’re able to reschedule.

Thanks for understanding, Bordentown!
